Hacktoberfest has slowly turned into my yearly ritual—taking an idea and shaping it into something open source and community-driven. This time, that idea is Sapien, a space where AI prompts can be shared, explored, and evolved together.
The inspiration came from Git itself. The way it manages history, branching, and collaboration always fascinated me. I wanted to take that same philosophy—transparency, contribution, and evolution—and bring it to the world of AI prompts. What if prompts could have versions, forks, and changelogs just like code? That’s the spirit behind Sapien.
I’ve started building Sapien in public during Hacktoberfest, and the energy around it has been phenomenal. Within just 2 days, 8 contributors have already joined in, committing ideas, designs, and code to make this vision real. Watching people come together around a shared curiosity for AI creativity is incredibly motivating.
Right now, Sapien is in active development, but the dream is clear: to make a living, open-source ecosystem for AI prompt collaboration—where creativity evolves like software.

I’m deeply thankful to everyone contributing to this journey. If you’re new to open source or have ideas for making Sapien better, this is your invitation—come build with us. Collaboration is the best teacher.
Let’s see how far we can take this together. 🚀
