Project Raseed was developed as part of the Google AI Agentic Hackathon 2025 in Bangalore, where our team participated in a historic event that officially broke the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD™ for the most participants in an Agentic AI hackathon — 1941+ developers on the ground for 30 hours.
The project tackles a common problem: managing receipts and understanding spending is still manual and fragmented. Users often lose track of where their money goes, miss opportunities to save, or struggle with budgeting.
Project Raseed is an AI-powered receipt manager and personal finance assistant that integrates seamlessly into a Google Pay–like app. Users can upload or snap a bill, and Raseed instantly extracts a detailed transaction breakdown using Gemini’s multimodal capabilities. From there, it evolves into a personal financial advisor — offering spending insights, smart shopping suggestions, personalized savings nudges, and even future financial planning through natural-language conversations.
