Building an Agentic AI Bot for Smarter Finances at Agentic AI Day 2025
Completed one of the most intense, chaotic, and rewarding weekends ever at Agentic AI Day 2025, hosted at BIEC, Bengaluru on 26th and 27th July — and what a ride it’s been!
Our team, 10xDevelopers, comprising Adarsh, Aadhar, Ishaan, and myself, qualified for the final day of the Agentic AI Day Hackathon. From the moment we checked in, it was a full-on rollercoaster ride — fueled by caffeine, code, and pure determination.
The Idea: Talking to Your Money
We built an Agentic AI bot designed to help users categorize their daily bills and fees automatically. The goal was simple — make personal finance intelligent, secure, and conversational.
One of our most exciting use cases was with grocery bills. Feed in your receipt, and the bot could estimate what’s in your fridge, helping you plan meals or track stock without manually updating anything.
How It Worked
- We used Google Cloud Functions to handle multimodal processing, parsing both text and images from bills.
- Leveraged the Agentic SDK to create an autonomous Agent that handled data extraction, categorization, and insights generation in the background.
- Instead of relying on traditional cloud storage, we integrated Google Wallet as the secure storage mechanism for bills — ensuring users retain ownership and privacy over their financial data.
- The processed data powered a dashboard that visualized forecasts, spending breakdowns, and personalized financial tips.
In essence, we built a system that lets you talk to your money, store your bills safely, and receive actionable insights in real time.
The Hackathon Experience
⚡ Yes, there were hiccups (no internet early on 🙃), but that didn’t stop us.
💻 We coded through the night, powered by coffee, chaos, and Red Bull.
🏆 We made it to the Top 6 teams in our use case track.
🎤 Delivered a pitch we’re genuinely proud of.
🤝 Met some incredible developers, mentors, and innovators along the way.
Did we win? Not in the top 3 this time.
Was it chaotic? Absolutely.
Would I do it again? YES.
Reflections and Takeaways
Huge thanks to Google Cloud, Fi, and ElevenLabs for putting this together. The energy, innovation, and scale of Agentic AI Day were unmatched.
That said, a note for Hack2skill — better on-ground management would’ve made a huge difference. Hopefully, this feedback is taken in the right spirit. The developer community deserves smooth, well-coordinated experiences at events of this scale, and I’m confident the next edition will be even better.

Agentic AI Day 2025 was more than just a hackathon — it was a test of endurance, creativity, and collaboration. We didn’t just build a bot; we built a financial companion powered by AI that reimagines how people interact with and secure their money.
The caffeine may have worn off, but the spark to build hasn’t.
